consolidated the New England Colonies and
placed them all under royal control, meaning
he revoked their charters and authority to
governor autonomously (independently).
The “Glorious Revolution” resulted in an
increase in rights (rights of the accused, trial by
jury, ruler couldn’t raise taxes without the
approval of Parliament).
