ALL students should have their recorders in
school for music class.
Parent-Teacher Conferences…
If you have not yet signed up for a parent-teacher conference, please
take a moment to do so. All you need to do is log onto my page in the
school’s website and click the link for conference schedule. If you’re
having any difficulty with this site, please let me know.
Conferences will be held before and after school starting
Monday, October 19th.
This Week’s States and Capitals:
Help our school by sending in
your Box Tops and Campbell’s
labels.
Columbia, South Carolina
Atlanta, Georgia
Students will need to be able to
recall the state and capital as well
as know the spelling of each.
Word Study Homework
Next Due Date:
October 16
Write each word three times in
cursive (on cursive sheet)
Write each word in a sentence.
You may use up to two words in
each sentence. Underline or
highlight your words.
Have a parent give you a
practice test Thursday for
homework. Your parent must
sign the practice test.
Please be sure your child has a
good dictionary at home to use for
their Word Study homework.
PARENT HELP NEEDED…
In mid-October we will be
constructing a salt-dough map for
the Geographic Regions of North America.
We are looking for some parents who will
be willing to help us out. We will need:
-Poster Board (13 per class)
-Batches of Salt Dough (13 per class)
