ALL students should have their recorders in
school for music class by Fri., Sept. 25th.
Parent-Teacher Conferences…
If you have not yet signed up for a parent-teacher conference, please
take a moment to do so. All you need to do is log onto my page in the
school’s website and click the link for conference schedule. If you’re
having any difficulty with this site, please let me know. Conferences
will be held before and after school starting Monday, October 19th.
This Week’s States and Capitals:
Word Study Homework
Write each word three times in
cursive (on cursive sheet)
Write each word and its
phonetic (dictionary) spelling
Alphabetize your words.
Have a parent give you a
practice test Thursday for
homework. Your parent must
sign the practice test.
Please be sure your child has a
good dictionary at home to use for
their Word Study homework.
Reminders…

Please remember to read every
night for at least twenty
minutes. Students should have
checked out and be reading a
mystery book for our first book
report.

Record your reading on your
Reading Log. Parents, please
initial your child’s Reading Log
by Wed. and Fri. each week.

Return the Lion Log and Friday
Folders on Mondays.
Help our school by sending in
your Box Tops and Campbell’s
labels.
