AGENDA:
1. From your chart whereby you listed all the
qualities of a good reader and a good writer, write
your most important quality of a good reader at
the bottom of that same chart.
2. Read “Good Readers and Good Writers” by
Nabokov (see webpage). Then tell me what are
Nabokov’s four qualities of a good reader on that
same chart. Identify how your best reading trait
corresponds to one of Nabokov’s four qualities of
a good reader and HOW the two characteristics
are similar.
3. In groups, categorize each of your qualities of a good
reader under one of Nabokov’s four qualities, and then
present findings to class. Also, discuss the three roles
of a writer, according to Nabokov. What are those
roles expected to accomplish, according to Nabokov?
