When we first started we were focused on doing primary research and some programming Through the years we have focused more on community programming and education Funding MO Department of Elementary and Secondary Education MO Department of Social Services US Department of Health and Human Services Programming objectives Helping adolescents and young adults develop healthy relationships and sexual decision making skills. – This is achieved by providing services to community professionals as well as direct services to youth and their parents through regional HDFS extension faculty and community partnerships. Programs we implement Missouri Volunteer Resource Mothers Maltreatment and Adolescent Pregnancy and Parenting Program Adolescent Mother Journaling Program Making Proud Choices Connecting for Baby Our project Create a dynamic persuasive movie on the topic of HIV/STD and teen pregnancy prevention – Utilize research we have already done, some compiling of stats may be necessary – Find photos, videos and music to use in the movie Other Resources Technical assistance to organizations implementing these programs Up-to-date research and information for professionals and educators in the field Assistance with grant writing Who we are looking for 2-3 people who can work up to 4 hours each week on this project People who are able to be a self starter and work with little daily supervision Prefer someone who has multimedia knowledge or willing to get training Questions?
