We are on unit 3, which is
10:40 mostly based on
multiplication and
division. Please look over
your child’s homework with
them each night. Please
study multiplication facts
with your child at home. I
have sets of cards and
other resources for you to
borrow. Just send me an eReading
Minutes
mail.
Reading minutes are collected every
Monday. Your child should read 120
minutes per week!

We will begin a mystery novel study at
the beginning of the second quarter.
We are now working on instant word
lists in spelling.
In writing, we are working on our
first personal narrative. We are
working on the writing process.
Social
Studies/Science
In social studies, we are working on
our second unit, which is about the
Northeast region in the United States.
We will begin the motion and design
unit this
month.
