We have started unit 7, which covers fractions.
Please look over your child’s homework with them each night. Please continue working on multiplication and division with your child. I have sets of cards and other resources for you
We are now on our poetry unit.
Students are learning how to interpret poems and figurative language. We are also writing poems.
We are learning about electricity. In this unit, we will learn about circuits, conductors, insulators, and we will even make flashlights! help us by getting donations from businesses, family members, or they can be from you!
We’ve previously given away gift cards, flash cards, and many other math related things.

Reading Minutes
You will notice the reading minutes look a little different this week. We are now filling out reading logs. This does not require much work, but allows me to see what your children are reading.
Your child should read 120 minutes per week!
