Dear Parents -- LAST NOTE!!

This has been a great school year for me – year 32!! Mrs. Dausses is a joy to work
with and she’s so very helpful. Everyday I’m sad when she has to leave at 12:30
because I need her here the whole day! Our class has had great support with
our homeroom moms, Julie Rothrock and Carrie Storms, as well as the many
“helper” moms & dads who did a great job with the students each and every
week. I know I couldn’t have gotten it all done without this support. Thank you
to Julie & Carrie, Kelly Workman, Miki Ranta, Carrie Phillips, Jodie Nida, Erin
Rowan, Stephanie Bills, Mary Kathryn Moeller, Ashley Lamb, Piper Nida, Toni
Parchuri, Laura Brown, Janelle Sams, Sallie Sooter, Amanda Stein, Katie
Worsham, John Rothrock, Scott Moeller and Rodney Sooter for working in the
classroom this school year! Thanks too to all the Thursday AM readers!
I hope you all have a safe, fun, wonderfully long summer. Our family gets to
spend July in Beaver Creek, CO (near Vail) with my parents, in a beautiful rented
condo! We’ll ride bikes, hike, swim and I’ll play lots of tennis. We have a fun
summer planned and we look forward to enjoying it each and every day.
Your child’s report card is in the Red Friday Folder. Your child’s Data Book is in
the backpack also.
In August our school will be mailing out your child's fall classroom placement.
Meet-the-Teacher day is set for Tues, August 16th (A-L 10:00-1:00, M-Z 3:00-6:00).
The first day of school is Friday, August 19th. Your child will be in a first grade
classroom with a friend from Kdg, which will make that transition a bit easier. I
look forward to seeing you all when school starts again. Have a wonderful
summer! It’s been a pleasure working with each family!
