VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES-JUDICIAL DOMESTIC RELATIONS DIVISION SUMMER 2016 THE DOMESTIC RELATIONS DIVISION IS CONDUCTING AN ADDITIONAL COLLECTION PROCESS FOR STUDENTS WHO MAY STILL BE INTERESTED IN SERVING THE COURT ON A VOLUNTEER BASIS DURING THE SUMMER 2016 SEMESTER PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING DESCRIPTION FOR SPECIFIC INFORMATION. DESCRIPTION: Judicial externships are available each semester in the Domestic Relations Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County located at the Richard J. Daley Center. Applicant must be available to be in Court at least two (2) days a week for at least four to six (4-6) hours per day (days and time negotiable) and must be at least a 2L student. Preference is given to students with a demonstrated interest in family law. Externship is unpaid but students may receive course credit. Job duties include, but are not limited to: legal research, drafting research memos and drafting orders/judgments.
