BANKING HOURS
ELECTION DAY
Bank of Jamaica wishes to advise that the Bank will be open to the public
from 8 30a.m. to 11 30 a.m. on Thursday, 29 December 2011, Election Day.
In that regard, a weighted average exchange rate from that day’s foreign
currency trading will not be published. The weighted average exchange rate
derived from trading on Wednesday, 28 December 2011 will be the
applicable exchange rate for Customs and GCT purposes for Thursday and
Friday, 29 and 30 December 2011, respectively.
The Bank will resume normal banking hours on Friday, 30 December 2011 at
9 00 a.m.
