BANKING HOURS
ELECTION DAY
Bank of Jamaica wishes to advise that the Bank will be open to the public
from 8 30a.m. to 11 30 a.m. on Monday, 26 March 2012, Local Government
Election Day.
In that regard, a weighted average exchange rate from that day’s foreign
currency trading will not be published. The weighted average exchange rate
derived from trading on Friday, 23 March 2012 will be the applicable
exchange rate for Customs and GCT purposes for Saturday, 24 March to
Tuesday, 27 March 2012.
The Bank will resume normal banking hours on Tuesday, 27 March 2012 at
9 00 a.m.
