4 FLAMINGO VILLAS, ROBIN DRIVE, IRLAM.
PURPOSE OF REPORT.
To seek approval to the temporary letting of the above to George Cox and Sons from
16 May 2001. The premises to be used as a site office for the improvement works at
Tiger Moth Square at a fee of £230.00 per month.
RECOMMENDATION.
I recommend that the Lead Member approves the transaction as detailed below.
INFORMATION.
The premises are currently vacant and have been so since 1 October 1999.
George Cox and Sons are currently contracted by the City Council to undertake
improvement works to Tiger Moth Square. The improvements are expected to last
approximately 16 weeks. The shop premises are located fronting the square and so
are ideal for use as the Contractor’s site office.
