THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT ARLINGTON ADMINISTRATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL (NON-TEACHING) JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: CODE: Director, Accounting Services 0345 FUNCTION: To provide for the accurate and timely reporting of University financial information and condition. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate and prepare Annual Financial Report (AFR); review AFR for accuracy prior to submission; work with the Executive Director of Accounting to enter AFR in the Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS). Prepare the annual IFRS report. Prepare the monthly method of financing report as required by UT System; prepare special reports including IPEDS, CFAE Gift Reconciliation, Coordinating Board Report of Research expenditures, UBIT Report, Quarterly Binding Encumberance Report. Prepare the management reports as requested, prepare the State of Revenues and Expenditures for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Responsible for the Control Self-Assessment for the University. Supervise and train Financial Analyst. Attend meetings and training sessions relating to USAS and other accounting/reporting issues.
