My Chinese name is the most common way that people in Taiwan to choose, by
fortune teller. In Chinese customs, parents believe if you got a good name when
you birth, you’ll receive good luck too. For example, last word of my Chinese name
is 諭, in ancient China, this word can also stand for emperor`s order to all his people.
I think this name also show my parents anticipate to me, they hope their children
could succeed whenever career or schoolwork.
And my English name is Keanu; this
name is the first name of one of my favorite actor Keanu Reeves.
I name after the
actor because I like him so much. I’d watched the entire movie he role in and love it
very much!
I wouldn’t change whatever my Chinese name or English name; I think
it all has special meaning to me.
And I think, all the people should like your name
because it isn’t just a name, it represents yourself, either.
