BLOCKING PROTOCOL:
(CORNING ULTRAGAPS AND ERIE EPOXYSILANE)
MATERIALS:
Blocking Agent (Roche 1 096 176)
SSC
SDS
MilliQ
Make a stock solution of filtered 5X SSC, 0.1% SDS. We store it in a water
bath at 65C
In a 50 ml conical measure 0.25g of Roche Blocking agent. Fill to 25 ml
with pre-warmed solution. Vortex until dissolved completely. May require
re-warming in a 65C bath then back on the vortex to completely dissolve.
Pour into a slide holder and add slides that have been appropriately
crosslinked.
Return to 65C bath for 35 min.
Rinse in water ~ 5 min on orbital.
Spin dry.
Use same day.
