Tests **Last day Wed June 15th Course Description This course is designed to teach students how to use math to solve problems and communicate. There will be a strong focus on critical thinking skills and logic. We will try a variety of approaches to each concept and address issues such as math anxiety while integrating problem-solving and reasoning strategies with mathematical skills, using problems encountered in everyday life. This class will help prepare learners for higher level math courses by building an understanding of mathematical relationships by focusing on problem-solving skills, developing estimation and mental math strategies, and integrating algebra, geometry, and data analysis with arithmetic.
