EDHEC Finance Recruitment Fair Friday 25th September 2009, Nice Campus We are delighted to welcome you to the EDHEC Finance Recruitment Fair, which will take place on Friday 25th September 2009 from 12 to 5.30 pm on our campus in Nice. The objective of this day is to enable you to meet EDHEC students, present your company and your career and placement opportunities The day will be structured as followed - - 12 pm to 12.30 pm: Arrival on campus 12.30 to 1.30 pm: Buffet lunch for all companies attending the event: this is a great opportunity to network and meet our staff from the Careers Service and Finance Department! 1.30 to 2 pm : Companies set up their stands 2 to 5 pm: Companies and students meet 5 pm : Cocktail 5.30 pm : Closing of the event The students and their expectations The main audience are students majoring or with an interest in Finance, in their penultimate or final year. This includes all EDHEC under-graduate programmes (Master in Management, MSc Finance, MSc Risk and Asset Management, MSc in Capital Markets, MSc in Corporate Finance and MSc in Management Control) Penultimate year students would typically be looking for a summer internship in 2009 or a placement, as part of their sandwich year, which can last between 3 months to a full year, from July 2010 on. Final year students would be seeking a placement of at least 6 months (from July to December 2010), Communication prior to the event The Campus Careers Service will ensure that this event is widely advertised with our students. Targeted e-mails will be sent beginning of September to students informing them of the event and of companies that will be attending. If you wish to send any particular message to the students prior to the event, please e-mail us with the text on: francoise.evangelisti@edhec.edu On the student Intranet, which is used on a daily basis by the students, we will advertise the event and list the logos of the companies attending. Clicking on the logo will lead onto your Company Information page, where a direct link to your website will also appear. Please refer to the Checklist at the bottom of this memo for the details of the material we need you to send us. You are also welcome to send beforehand posters, brochures or leaflets on the campus for us to display. Company Information Page We would be very grateful if you could e-mail or fax us back the completed Company Information Page which students will be able to consult off the Intranet prior to the event. This Information Page describes your activities and the profiles you are looking to recruit. Set-up on campus The event takes place across the campus in the Hall of the EDHEC building where you are more than welcome to set-up as you wish with stands, posters… Also, if you wish to send your own events organisation company on the campus to have them set up the room on your behalf, please let us know the names and the details of when they are supposed to arrive on campus, so that we can direct them on site. However, please note that we will not be able to have them enter the classrooms before 10.00 am on the day of the event.
