b. Dr. Tracy Slagter, USP – major and beyond, indirect assessment give open space
to tell you what your direct assessment how many students proficient direct and
indirect grades university assessment plan, part of innovation evolutionary and
not a how we handle transfer students the first semester fall 2014 did not go well,
quest 11 locking up six credits other things that you want to do. Advising Comm
111 fit which one that what and see put not willing to give up on it but know it is
an issue, reentry transfer students campus resources, change in fall 2016 going
through right now nonwestern UW Oshkosh requirement fall 2015 global
citizenship requirement the idea behind it interactions between people in the
world cannot be united stated much more global studying will be modified fall
2016 European union, global citizenship, work on Quest III part of the USP most
terrifying to students and professors outside classroom – get out of the community
beyond just the classroom and extended the classroom to somewhere else in the
community. She traveled with study abroad last b spring and will be traveling to
Costa Rico in January and has a waiting list for. Surveys not enough responses for
meaning full data, spoke with Jordan regarding a student advisory council want
students to be there as they are very helpful to us. USP Faculty Senate meets
weekly and has one student seat and make important decisions every week, or
email usp@uwosh.edu or come to the Pollock House and just sit down with us.
include the issues and the problem each has unique issue with USP. Intervarsity
Christian: Heard negative comments and a few friends did not apply here because
of it and wondering how the university felt about that? Answer: felt badly that
the program did start off as it did, limited set of characters it is something we
want to remedy in the future, part of the problem will be taking general ed
previous persistent not to connect general ed with USP and it almost worked too
well they do not connect the two talking about general ed all credits are
transferrable, decrease short term does not concern me. Wildlife Conservation
Club: Quest II Junior my professor twice as hard but another same class two
different professors and their class easier and seems unfair. Answer: This is hard
as each instructor can do what they want. She feels like she may not be answer
question, so if a follow up question to help clarify she will be happy to answer.
Will there ever be a Syllabus for USP classes? Answer: No usp@uwosh.edu or
come to Pollock House and just sit down with us. Biology 105 department issue
not of USP program. His House: many answers seems like not USP issue but
department issue, grad school paired and they have to , other general eds not
paired during interims over summer claim want input? Answer: we do run across
this not a ton frequency pre-med students, med tech and kinesiology we do know
this.
c. Laura Knaapen, User Services Director – happy and productive student printing
help of OSA allocation responsible number $10 in fall $10 in summer did not
report to student accounts put on tuition bill, free ride over charges. October 21
start accessing Titan Dollars for over printing. Laura has talked to instructors and
explained this for classes. Circle K – student dollars used in Scotts hall. Answer
do not want students to get screwed over looking for a way IT and residence halls
can connect as there is a disconnect but if stop at general access lab can help you
out. His House: In response to going over limits is is kind of your fault for not
keeping track. Laura cont: There is an online option for adding money to your
card. Side note: email here or IT in regard to classroom lights problems or email
tech@uwoshosh.edu and tell classroom tech not something students should have
to put up with. Also all new knowledge base kb.uwosh.edu will answer all
technology questions you may have also may stop in the basement of Polk and
you will be assisted there with technology questions.
