Open Forum – Adding milk to meals in Reeve is expensive. IV. Approval of the Minutes – approved Guest Speakers – a. Stephanie, Insomnia Cookies – two weeks notification before a fund raising day, charitable and fund raising, may order 500 to 600 hundred, portion of all sales and all delivery for the full day will be given to your club/org, and day except Valentine’s Day or 04/20, offer stands until Insomnia Cookies no longer exists. b. USP Faculty Senate meets weekly and has one student seat and make important decisions every week, or email usp@uwosh.edu or come to the Pollock House and just sit down with us. include the issues and the problem each has unique issue with USP. Intervarsity Christian: Heard negative comments and a few friends did not apply here because of it and wondering how the university felt about that? Answer: felt badly that the program did start off as it did, limited set of characters it is something we want to remedy in the future, part of the problem will be taking general ed previous persistent not to connect general ed with USP and it almost worked too well they do not connect the two talking about general ed all credits are transferrable, decrease short term does not concern me. Wildlife Conservation Club: Quest II Junior my professor twice as hard but another same class two different professors and their class easier and seems unfair. Answer: This is hard as each instructor can do what they want. She feels like she may not be answer question, so if a follow up question to help clarify she will be happy to answer. Will there ever be a Syllabus for USP classes? Answer: No usp@uwosh.edu or come to Pollock House and just sit down with us. Biology 105 department issue not of USP program. His House: many answers seems like not USP issue but department issue, grad school paired and they have to , other general eds not paired during interims over summer claim want input? Answer: we do run across this not a ton frequency pre-med students, med tech and kinesiology we do know this. c. Laura Knaapen, User Services Director – happy and productive student printing help of OSA allocation responsible number $10 in fall $10 in summer did not report to student accounts put on tuition bill, free ride over charges. October 21 start accessing Titan Dollars for over printing. Laura has talked to instructors and explained this for classes. Circle K – student dollars used in Scotts hall. Answer do not want students to get screwed over looking for a way IT and residence halls can connect as there is a disconnect but if stop at general access lab can help you out. His House: In response to going over limits is is kind of your fault for not keeping track. Laura cont: There is an online option for adding money to your card. Side note: email here or IT in regard to classroom lights problems or email tech@uwoshosh.edu and tell classroom tech not something students should have to put up with. Also all new knowledge base kb.uwosh.edu will answer all technology questions you may have also may stop in the basement of Polk and you will be assisted there with technology questions. d. Committee Reports - none Discussion – a. New UW Oshkosh Joint Resolution on Shared Governance – State Statue changed this summer in WI where OSA faculty staff, university staff council, advisory to Chancellor. Working on creating Shared Governance Conference also here on campus. A joint resolution will be on the agenda soon for OSA Assembly and Senate to review and vote on. Be the Match: I thought that was not changing and the governor vetoed it. Answer: that was segregated fees he did not veto the shared governance line b.
