Open Forum – Pub crawl – College of Republicans – was in disagreed with parking
policies the Tuesday before lots were being sold for $10 a pop.

a. Darryl Sims, Athletic Director – Game Plan – rescheduled for April 25, 2016
b. Raven Wilson, LGBTQ Ally March Planning Committee member – this Thursday
12th annual prior, T-shirts this year are $5 and we will be selling them, Tues, Wed,
Thurs. in Reeve until and then again at the event. Women different orgs and how
they are an ally in communities student speaker communities Andy Hayes her
husband serves on Sgt. Heaverer Two a grad and undergrad student– Anthony
Klinger, Raven Tri Sigma and PHC which is an OSA for Greek life, encourage
teams to come a smaller club or interest, lead the March and do not have to come
with Student club/orgs and win a pizza party

OSA Directors and Ambassadors –
OSA Office Manager – (Rae Ann - wetzelr@uwosh.edu ) – Mark Reinhard
scholarship is open and will close on April 28. Applications are open for SLS
director, OSA Marketing Director, OSA Sustainability Director are open
applications on TitanLink until Friday, April 15 until 11:30 PM.
c. OSA Advisor – (Petra – roterp@uwosh.edu) – Board of Regents meeting on
Thursday Reeve front entrance and make it more accessible this meeting moved
around as a result the sub contract bids are over a million dollars more so needed
for regents to approve and now have to bring it to the building committee. Thank
you all for the great voter turnout, students will come out in numbers not staff,
Albee gym and make sure there are many members will work on that the process
is. Pub crawl topic of conversation some of the initiative and OSA and student
representation Hot Wash, as the police call it, the event and will have
representation at those meetings and apologies strike a balance as far as Reeve is

concerned where the money from a full bond for the project we are not collecting
monies for this coming year from students. We will be looking at Furniture
Fixture and Equipment to see if we can save money in that area did not want to
come back to ask for additional dollars but think we have it covered. Caitlin
student location if they lived off campus the location was not correct. Roter: We

Speaker Pro-Tempore – (Maria – osaspeakerpt@uwosh.edu ) – No report
Speaker of the Assembly – (Austyn – osaspeaker@uwosh.edu) – Graham,
Jordan, Austyn, and Leah attended Sustainability Summit Climate, campus are
discussing about starting a Green Fund and all UW campuses are being asked to
and we are ahead since we already have one.
Vice President Pro-Tempore – (Zachary - osavppt@uwosh.edu) – no report
Vice President – (Graham – (osavp@uwosh.edu) – after school program not able
to make it the rest of the school year, joint OSA Sophomore year, 2nd year
humility and honor my role unique running meetings not an easy task, we discuss
from parking to meal plans. I have been asked by a few people why don’t you tell
us how you feel. My answer is being a role model or leader I don’t want to
manipulate what others think as this would ethically be a grey area. We can
decide what to do with the time that is given to us, we can get change done.
Austyn: Please keep on topic we have a long meeting and much to get down, this

X. Unfinished Business –
OSA 15-105
WHEREAS: The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO) has recently completed a Campus
Climate Survey, which was aimed at measuring the campus environment as it relates to
interpersonal, academic and professional interactions; and
WHEREAS: Results from the survey can help UWO evaluate the current campus climate to
examine the behaviors, beliefs and experiences of students and employees concerning the level
of respect and value for individual differences; and
WHEREAS: Results can also help University leadership develop programs and initiatives to
create a more inclusive campus community and enhance UWO’s Inclusive Excellence Plan; and
WHEREAS: The recently completed Campus Climate Survey was the first of its kind since
2008; and
WHEREAS: The Oshkosh Student Association believes that all students should be able to
express their opinions related to UWO’s campus climate; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: OSA supports a plan to issue a Campus Climate Survey on a
consistent two-year basis; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The Campus Climate Survey be updated to include data
retrieved from previous surveys; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The results from the surveys, including the recently completed
survey, will be publically published on a multitude of mediums in a timely fashion; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED: Upon passage of OSA, a copy of this resolution shall be sent to
the following individuals: Dr. Andrew Leavitt, Chancellor of UWO; Dr. Petra Roter, ViceChancellor of Student Affairs; Dr. Sylvia Carey-Butler, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic
Support of Inclusive Excellence; Dr. Stephanie de Montigny, Professor and Chair of the
Anthropology Department; and Dr. Liz Cannon, Director of the LGBTQ Resource Center.

WHEREAS, The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO) is committed to creating an inclusive
learning environment that prepares our graduates to meet the challenges of an increasingly global
society; and
WHEREAS, The Center for Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence is dedicated to creating a
strong campus infrastructure for Inclusive Excellence to serve as a catalyst that transforms how
diversity is advanced, achieved and experienced at UW Oshkosh; and
WHEREAS, When searching UWO’s homepage as well as other search engines for the Center of
Equity and Diversity the first link listed is a facilities management page; and
WHEREAS, This page does not offer any click through links with information to resources; and
WHEREAS, The Center for Equity and Diversity holds the Women’s Center, the LGBTQ+
Resource center, and the Division of Academic Support; and
WHEREAS, The Oshkosh Student Association (OSA) believes that these resources are
beneficial to students; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That OSA supports a plan to update the Center for Equity
and Diversity’s website; and
THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, The Center for Equity and Diversity’s website
be updated to include links and contact information for all resources housed there; and
THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the updated website be added as a resource
on UWO’s homepage; and
THEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, Upon passage by OSA a copy of this resolution

Committee Reports - Shared Governance Transition meeting today – discussed grading
policy they got it but did not really get it, in 2008 one group all shared governance
passed it changed in 2009 minus but have not enforced it some use ABCD and some use
the plus and minus will talk about this more and will keep track of this and ensure
faculty is enforcing registration that they passed.
