Scott and White donates computers to Killeen school Killeen -- The Temple Daily Telegram reports that Scott and White Memorial of Temple has donated 160 computers to Killeen's newly opened Shoemaker High School establish a robotics program. Delivered to the school last week, the computer give-away is part of an ongoing program by the hospital when it upgrades its computer network. Shoemaker principal Nelda Howton said her staff will check the inventory of the new hardware, then determine where to best use it on the South Clear Creek Road campus. The school might start a Math and Science Academy in the near future, Ms. Howton said, and the computers "represented a budding partnership" with the Temple hospital. David Quisenberry of Scott and White information systems said if the school starts a robotics program which is a possibility according to the Telegram, the memory and processors of the donated IBM and Dell computers could be used.
