Dear Parents,
Here are some ways to practice Rainbow Words:
 Read a story. See how many times you can find the words.
 Write a sentence using each word, then read them.
 Use coins to form the words.
 Use your favorite snack to form your words, then eat it. 
 Use colored chalk to write your words on the driveway or sidewalk.
 Spell your words using letter stamps, then read them.
 Paint your words with watercolors or finger paint.
 Look in the newspaper or a magazine for your words. Highlight,
underline them, or cut them out (with mom and dad’s permission).
 Use beans, rice, or pasta to form your words; glue them to construction
paper.
 Write each letter of your words with a different colored crayon or
marker.
 Make flash cards of your words and practice them for a few minutes
before and after school, and before you go to bed.
 Enjoy becoming a better reader! 
