Show and Tell is this Friday!!!!!!
The new marking period has begun. Gym is
Mondays only. We now have Art on Tuesdays
and Fridays!
Parent conferences are Nov. 3rd and 19th
Half Day of School: November 3rd and 19th
(Dismissal begins at 10:45 am on half days).
No School: November 4th 11th, 25th, 26th, 27th
Math
We are towards the end of the NY State
Common Core Module One.
Your child should be able to name and write
numbers 0-10 (no numbers backwards).
Your child should be able to count at least 10
objects.
Your child should know one more, one less with
numbers 1-10.
Social Studies
Our Social Studies Alive unit is “Getting Along
With Others”. We will have SHOW & TELL on
Friday to demonstrate these skills. Please bring
in one object from home for the day. 

learning to ask and answer questions
about a text.
Your child should be able to say the
sounds for the lowercase letters.
Please practice every night if your
child is struggling with sounds until
they can say them smoothly! See the
sound page in the homework for
practice. Our focus sounds this week
are:
i, a, o, m, n, t, d, c, g, s, h, f
Please have your child segment
(sound out) and blend these words.
on, in, sit, sad, man, hat,
ham, can, hot, dig
Please read with your child every
night and make sure your child can
answer questions about the story.
