CHARACTER OF THE JOB
Positions at this level are capable of operating fully autonomously and without close supervision on many programming and maintenance activities, including activities that are somewhat beyond the routine. Moderately complex programming and system maintenance activities are undertaken with guidance provided by more senior positions, particularly on analysis. Positions require a good working knowledge of the relevant environment and tool set.
Typically positions at this level are information technology generalists and will independently work on assignments that have some complexity or are provided guidance where the complexity of the project is greater.
QUALIFICATIONS
Typically requires a related technical diploma and some experience related to their position or an equivalent amount of directly related experience.
An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
