Objective: Students will investigate a website to learn the steps to becoming a naturalized
citizen of the United States.
Process:
 Students will need to access the website “Ben’s Guide to US Government” at
http://bensguide.gpo.gov/6-8/index.html, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service at
http://uscis.gov/graphics/services/natz/index.htm, U.S. Immigration Support at
http://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/citizenship.html, and Expert Law at
http://www.expertlaw.com/library/immigration/naturalization.html
 Student will write at least 3 paragraphs summarizing what they found from the websites.
Students should be encouraged to create a web of the information while researching these
sites to aid in writing the paragraphs.
