GROUP PRESENTATION ON NUTRIENTS
Divide students into pairs or small groups and have each group prepare a five minute (or
longer if you prefer) presentation on one of the six nutrients (in lieu of a quiz). The
presentations may include feeds containing the minerals and deficiency symptoms when
they are lacking. Have the students fill out the following worksheet in preparation for the
presentation. They should be able to get the majority of the information from their notes,
but you can require other resources if you like.
