1.22 Develop and incorporate tables, charts,
graphs and figures to support written and oral communications
Throughout the Broiler Project the students will be responsible for measuring and
tracking the growth of the birds. Once a week the class will weigh 15 birds. Each person
will keep a record of the weights of the 15 birds that are measured and the averages
throughout the 8 weeks. I will have the students create their own tables but each person’s
table must include the date, weight of the 15 birds and the average for the week. At the
end of the broiler project I will have the students write up a short report on observations
they had through out the broiler project. The report would include the chart that the
student created and a graph.
