NEWSLETTER ACTIVITY
Newsletters are a fun and interesting way to share information about your
chapter, its members and the events in which it participates. Ambitious chapters
can produce a newsletter every month or so, but it is also reasonable to produce two
newsletters a year. An appropriate time would be in January that recaps everything
from the end of the previous school year through December and also at the end of
the school year that covers January through June.
TASK: Review the “Elements of a Newsletter” handout. Consider all of the elements of
an effective newsletter. Create your own layout for your chapter newsletter making sure
to incorporate all of the appropriate elements.
