God comes to Moses…
 By way of the “Burning Bush”, he
reveals himself to Moses as “I am –

What is the significance of Midia?
What does God ask Moses to do?
 God calls Moses to be a leader. Moses is reluctant to do this,
he is “slow of speech” – unsure of himself & timid.
 God sees Moses’ strength and his gifts. God sees your
strengths and gifts. God calls us to be a leader in our own
lives, just as he called Moses to be a leader to his people.
 God also called Moses to deliver the Laws or 10
Commandments to the people.
Who is Aaron?
 Aaron was Moses’ brother. He was called by God to be a
support system for Moses. Moses was not a confident speaker
– definitely not a natural born leader. Aaron was there to
assist Moses.
 Who is/ are your support system when times get tough?
God sent plagues upon Egypt
because?
 God favored the Hebrew people because of their faithfulness
and dedication to God. The Pharaoh – an Egyptians was not
listening to the warnings of God. He would not let the
Hebrew people out of slavery.
The plagues affected…
The Egyptian People.
The 10 plagues were cast upon the Egyptian communities. The
Hebrew people were spared.
God gives Moses the “10
Commandments”
