Project Timelines
JJ Daniel Hall (Building 1)
Almost completed.
Drapes are on order.
Student Wellness and Sports Education
The GMP came in at $16.3 M.
Currently working through design irregularities.
It was noted that the Arena rooms will need to be re-programmed.
Biological Sciences Building
The building has been closed in.
Currently on schedule for completion in February, 2012.
A grand opening ceremony may be planned for March or April 2012.
Education Building: DRC, OCT, Veterans Services and Leadership Institute Offices
The steel is up and floor joists are in.
The project should be completed in October. The occupants plan to move in during the
December break.

Science & Engineering Remedial Work
The west and south facades are completed. The east and northeast sides are currently underway.
Chemicals in the building needed to be removed in order to get the supports in.
With no current issues, this should be completed by December 2011.
Building 9 – 2 nd Floor – History
The furniture will be arriving today. The move is scheduled for mid-June.

Dining Facility
Started the preliminary construction documents.
The boardwalk is being constructed and should be completed in 2½ weeks.
Substantial completion is scheduled for August 2012.
Zak Ovadia will show slides of the project next month.
Expansion of Golfplex to Accommodate Women’s Locker/Lounge Area
COAS needs have been accommodated in Buildings 3 and 4.
The library at the GLC has been cleared. Two labs will be moved out and 2 labs will be open to re-assignment in the building.
Currently waiting for a CPSR from Athletics.

Programming for Buildings 3, 4 and 50
The short term plan is to back fill buildings 3 and 4 from the Science & Engineering
Building.
Working on long term plans.

Bat House
The purchase order has been issued.
A pre-construction meeting will be scheduled.

Restroom for North Recreation Fields
This project is completed and will be removed from the project list.

NE Connector Road
Consultants are currently working on a proposal to improve the shuttle system which could include paving the gravel road behind the Arena which leads to Lot 18. There would be no sidewalks but crosswalks are being discussed.
Discussions continue with JTA to consolidate and/or change bus stops.

Art Work – Mural
There is a new art mural on Building 8 across from Outtakes. Two more murals are planned.
15.
Brick Sidewalks
To enhance wayfinding, the sidewalks from the Student Union to the Fine Arts Center have been modified to include brick accents. These accents help to identify a main walkway.
