Approval of Minutes:

April 13, 2009 - Minutes approved with no corrections

Announcements

 Chair Lance Taylor announced that funding for Elluminate has been approved for a specific number of licenses and will be limited to Grad Studies and the School of

Computing.

 Test run of Elluminate for 1 year, ending June 2010

 Training will be scheduled and monitored by the Blackboard team

 ITS Summer hours for the General Purpose Computer Lab:

 Monday through Thursday - 8am-10pm

 Friday - 9am-9pm

 Saturday - 9am-5pm

 Sunday - Noon -10pm

 Library Summer Hours:

 Monday through Thursday - 7am-10pm

 Friday - 7am-5pm

 Saturday - 9am-5pm

 Sunday - 1pm-10pm

Update: Content Management System

Fred Sudler deferred to Scott Bennett for the IPC Report

Report: Internet Presence Committee - Scott Bennett

 IPC Continues to meet weekly

 Demo/Discussion on CMS Template to be held on July 7th

 New UNF Home Page to Go-Live on June 1st

 Fred Sudler and his team will take 3 weeks after roll out to finalize the migration plan and get the website updated with information and schedules

 1-1/2 years to get the entire UNF community migrated into CMS

 An updated Developing and Publishing Web Pages Policy has been drafted and is ready to be presented to the constituent groups.

Report: Distance Learning Committee - Deb Miller reported that:

 Committee met on April 21st

 Julia Watkins has returned and resumed chair

 Discussed state DL task force report and identified topics to address in coming year, including DL fee, Guidelines for DL, and Professional Development to support DL

Report: Campus Technology Committee - Terry Cavanaugh

 Joint meeting on April 21st with DLC to discuss Orange Grove. Access to Orange Grove is free and open to all, and they have many digital resources and act as a publishing house for materials that are presented to them.
