Whereas, It is Ithaca College’s responsibility to provide a safe environment for
all students,
Whereas, currently, cars are allowed to drive through the pathways
surrounding the terrace residential buildings,
Whereas, those cars put students walking on those pathways at risk of
potential injury,
It is resolved that, the Ithaca College Student Government Association
formally recommend to the Vice President of Student Affairs and Campus Life, Rory
Rothman, all non-Ithaca College owned cars be banned from driving through the
pathways surrounding the terrace residential buildings, with the exception of move
in and move out days.
