Whereas, separate school based recommendations regarding microaggresions
have been passed and are moving forward,
Whereas, there is no current college-wide microaggressions reporting system
in place for student use,
Whereas, having such a system would make Ithaca College a safer, more
inclusive, and diverse community for all students,
Whereas, an online reporting system would best serve the student body,
It is resolved that, Ithaca College implements a school-wide online system to
report microaggressions,
It is further resolved that, the system will be set up to not identify individuals
who choose to report by name but will note the demographics of people who
report and the demographics of oppressors based on a coding system,
It is further resolved that, a committee be made to start and continue progress
on the creation and implementation of a reporting system.
