Guide to Good Food

 Foods and Nutrition: 1/2 year, 1/2 credit:
This course is designed to give students information about the importance
of good health and nutrition Students enrolled in this course will develop
basic food preparation skills, challenge their appetite by trying new foods
as well as explore career possibilities in the food industry and identify
personal characteristics necessary for these careers.
*Recommended prerequisite to Culinary Arts
 Classroom Expectations:


 Materials and Supplies Needed:
1 ½” binder is required for class to keep your class work and assignments.
* All papers are to be kept for the entire semester!
Pens and Pencils (blue and black ink)
A packet of dividers with pockets
You are required to bring with you all class materials on a daily basis!
* A USB Flash Drive will be needed *
