The Sales Training Specialist will work specifically on the Direct Inside Sales Division. Responsibilities: Prepares new sales representatives by conducting orientation to sales process; developing individual coaching plans; providing resources and assistance Determines training needs by traveling with sales representatives; observing sales encounters; studying sales results reports; conferring with sales managers. Develops individual results by maintaining policy and procedure resources; providing coaching; conducting training sessions; developing outcome improvement resources. Improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions. Accomplishes sales training and organization mission by completing related results Strong knowledge of and experience utilizing needs assessment, training program development and evaluation, adult-learning theory and application. Experience with Salesforce.com preferred. PC and Internet proficiency including MS Office and Outlook. Adaptive to change and ability to meet tight deadlines. Thrive in a team-oriented environment Work Experience 2+ years of revenue-specific training delivery experience. Proficiency in Salesforce.com, MS Office, Outlook and PowerPoint. Demonstrated knowledge of general revenue methodologies and processes. Understanding and knowledge of adult learning theory, group behavior, motivational theories, selling techniques and communication techniques. Flexibility and adaptability to shifting needs, evolving priorities, and urgent situations that arise Exceptional platform and facilitation skills. Experience in instructional design (the process of translating concepts into teachable content) and facilitation (the ability to impart that content in an appropriate teaching modality).
