Objectives Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to: 1. Explain supply chain management concepts, principles and practices. 2. Explain the importance of an efficient and effective supply chain system to a firm’s overall business performance, and a nation’s economy. 3. Design a supply chain system to achieve a firm’s logistics and marketing objectives. 4. Evaluate the performance of a firm’s supply chain system. Purpose To provide in-depth knowledge of supply chain management functions in marketing management. This course covers the theories, concepts and practices of supply chain management, and fosters the development of the skills necessary to management efficient and effective supply chain systems.
