Remember you usually want the most current information. I usually
limit my results to the past five years.

Figuring out the Correct Subject(s) to use
It can be difficult to find the correct subject heading. Try a citation
and abstract search for your topic: international business
management. This search retrieved too many records to look at
all of them
Examine the Subjects
Find one journal article that DOES seem relevant to your topic.
Take a close look at its subjects.
Redo your search with the relevant subjects
ABI/Inform makes it easy for you to redo your search. Click on
the More Like This yellow bar to see the subjects broken out.
Select your subjects from the list
Check the subjects you think are most relevant for international
business management. I’ve selected 1) multinational corporations
and 2) management styles.
New search results are on Topic Target
236 records is a much more workable number and they all really
are about international business management.
Scholarly Journals Selection
The only thing I don’t like about redoing the search this way is
that it doesn’t keep your scholarly journals selection. Click the
Scholarly Journals tab to further limit your results.
