Classroom Procedures:
 Entering the room: Immediately turn in your homework, find your seat, and begin working on the
daily assignment displayed on the front board or in Google Forms.
 Turning in Homework: All HOMEWORK should be placed in “HOMEWORK” basket located at the
front of the room at the beginning of class each day. I will check homework while you are working on
the daily assignment.
 Sharpening pencils and throwing away trash: You may sharpen your pencils or throw away
trash during class without asking as long as you do it quietly and without disturbing others. Only
one person may be at the pencil sharpener or trash can at a time.
 Turning in other assignments (classwork, quizzes, tests, etc.): All assignments, except the daily
assignment, should be placed in “Turn-it-in Box” located at the back of the room upon completion
unless you are told otherwise. Daily assignments should be placed back into the folder at the front of
the room.
 When you don’t have your homework: You will be assigned lunch detention each day that you do
not have your completed homework assignment. The lunch detention must be served by the following
day after it is assigned or you will be referred to Mrs. Anthony.
 When you don’t have your ID: If you come to class without an ID, you will be sent to the office to get
one and will be counted tardy.
 When you are tardy: If you are tardy to class, you must have a pass from the front office or another
teacher. No student will be allowed in class without a pass! (This is a school policy.)
 Going to the Restroom: You must ask permission and must sign out using the “Hall Pass” by the
door. Refrain from asking during instruction. Be quiet in the hallway.
 Going to the Office, Nurse, Guidance Office, or Another Teacher: You must ask permission and
use the “Hall Pass” by the door. When you return, your pass must be signed by the person you went to
see.
 Exiting the room (during class): You must sign out on the “Hall Pass” sheet beside the door.
 Exiting the room (at the end of class): I will tell you when you may pack up your materials and
dismiss you from class. Never line up at the door.
Behavior Consequences:
1st Offense – Verbal Warning
2nd Offense – Conference with student/Parent Contact
3rd Offense – Office Referral/Parent Contact
*I reserve the right to write an Office Referral for any
offense I deem necessary.
Academic Integrity
A TLH diploma is highly esteemed and
rigorous. Cheating of any form will not be
tolerated in my classroom. If I suspect
cheating, then a grade of zero will be
recorded or the earned grade will be shared.
A parent-teacher conference will be
immediately requested.
Additional Information:
Progress Reports: You will receive a school progress report for all your classes half way through each nine weeks. In
addition, I will give you a detailed progress report for this class after each test. It is for your information as well as your
parents. Use these progress reports as well as PowerSchool to stay up-to-date and aware of your grade in this class.

Monthly Calendars: You will be provided access to a Google calendar for this class listing our daily topics, notes,
homework assignments, quiz dates, and test dates. Please know that these are subject to change. I will announce any
and all changes in class.
