“Student-led Conferences are THIS Wednesday at
10:45 through lunch. Your leaders will lead you
through their conference and then you are able to
Reading: We will begin reading our first story in our Reading
book called A Fine, Fine School. We will work on the skills in
that story all week. We will focus on “Summarizing” and words
with multiple meanings.
Writing/Grammer: Your leaders will be continuing cursive
writing and learning/applying the “Writing Process” and
“Writing Traits” to their writing pieces.

today from the PTO for our class. WE need
volunteers for parties and donating items for the
class . Please send this back to me ASAP. Thanks.

Math: We will work on learning/understanding equations.
We have learned how to balance equations. I have taught
them to make sure that both sides of the equation are equal.
It is important to remember/use “fact families” for this skill.
Progress Reports will be given to you at the
“How To Be Cool In Third Grade Guidebooks” were
AWESOME!!! The kids did a great job presenting
them too.

Ice Cream is sold EVERY Friday.

