Call to Order
A monthly meeting of the MSU PEC Executive Committee convened at 3:30 pm. Co-Chairs Cindy Hail and Rebecca Woodard presiding.
II.
Approval of Minutes
The October 3 and October 31, 2012 minutes were approved.
III.
Bylaws
Proposed Bylaw changes will be discussed at the January meeting. After discussion, the proposed changes will be forwarded to the PEC Conceptual Frameworks Committee for review.
IV.
Program Assurance of Diverse Placements
Chris Craig, Denise Fredrick, and Rebecca Woodard have met with K-12/Secondary program coordinators. Sue George will meet with representatives from COE.
V.
Program Identification of Mid-Program Professional Dispositions Assessments
Cindy Hail reported that programs would receive a request for this information prior to the end of the semester.
VI.
Practical Skills Project
Cindy Hail gave an update.
VII.
PEU Highlights
Cindy Hail will send out a follow-up to PEU members, requesting brief summaries of current projects and recognitions. .
