Private/Homeschool Evaluations
Requests for evaluation for children enrolled in private schools will be handled as
follows: Who Handles the Referral


For children in grades K-12:











If the child lives within district and attends a private school within district (or is
homeschooled): The psychologist at the public school for which the child will be
zoned will handle the referral. 

If the child lives outside district and attends a private school within district: The
psychologist at the public school for which the private school is zoned will
handle the referral. 

If the child lives within district and attends a private school outside district: The
district in which the child attends school will handle the referral. 
For children in preschool:


If the child lives within district and attends a private school within district (or is
homeschooled): The psychologist at the preschool (South Fant or West Market)
for which the child will be zoned will handle the referral. 

If the child lives outside district and attends a private school within district: The
district in which the child lives will handle the referral. 

If the child lives within district and attends a private school outside district: The
psychologist at the preschool (South Fant or West Market) for which the child
will be zoned will handle the referral. 
