Dear Principal,
The Hong Kong Jockey Club Life-wide Learning Fund
Annual Activity Report (2012/13)
As in the past, schools are requested to submit a report of the Captioned Fund to the
Education Bureau (EDB). Here, we would like to remind schools again to closely follow up on
the spending progress and to use the Fund to aid the needy students as many as possible.
A report form and a sample of it are attached for your action. Schools are requested to
return the completed report to EDB by fax on or before 16 September, 2013. The funding support
comes to a close by end of August and all expenditures for the prescribed purpose on or before 31
August 2013 could be included in the report. For any amount unspent, government, private or
‘closing’ schools need to await our follow-up advice and then return it by cross cheque; for other
schools with amount unspent, EDB will deduct the amount from their school accounts directly.
For enquiries, please contact the Life-wide Learning and Library Section of the
Curriculum Development Institute at 2892 5824 or 3540 7436.
Yours sincerely,
(Ms Nancy WONG)
for Secretary for Education
