• The city of Oswego is digging out
Wednesday morning from the lake-effect
squalls that have dumped more than five
feet of snow on parts of central New York
over the past two days.
• The National Weather Service reports that
62 inches of snow fell on Oswego, N.Y., on
the eastern end of Lake Ontario, 35 miles
north of Syracuse.
