1. Staffing update
a. Law position
i. Position has been filled.
b. Part time - real estate search
i. Scott chairs the committee, Gene Toboyek and Steve Fan sit on the committee.
c. Replacement – real estate search
i. Rashiqa chairs the committee, Pascal and Yuan sit on the committee.
2. Advisory board meeting
a. Friday May 2nd, 2014.
b. Suggestions are made for a discussion subject:
i. Warhawk Real Estate Network
ii. Internships
iii. Department goals
c. Investment group presentation at 11am. All are invited
3. AoL assessment questions (Business Law and Business Finance)
a. Quiz to test finance knowledge in Admin Policy class.
b. For Business Law: the questions seems all right.
c. For Business Finance: updates are needed.

4. Committee updates
a. AoL committee (Linda)
i. Finance department is reporting to the AOL committee about assessment
questions used in Admin Policy class.
b. Assessment committee
i. Peggy Kuchan, and Scott Opsal, are on the committee.

i. No news related to the Finance and Business Law Department
5. Dr. Seagraves presents Warhawk Real Estate Network
a. The program is well advanced.
6. Department goal – progress report
a. Discussion about some of the department goals
i. Implement a critical thinking case study
1. The case study is being used in 344 Business Finance
ii. Devise questions for measuring student learning outcomes
1. Real Estate (wait for replacement)
2. Insurance (report to come)
3. Financial Planning (report to come)
b. Data collection: Spring 2014.
i. Collect data from 345, 360, and 456.
c. The information needs to be used for the assessment committee and department
annual report.
