The water cycle
The sun provides light, so
that we can see.
The sun provides heat, so
that we can be warm.
The sun is a source of
energy.
The sun shines every day, even when we cannot
see it.
Some days the clouds gather
between us and the sun, so we
cannot see the sun.
During the day the sun heats the earth.
The heat of the sun makes the air
around the earth warmer and
drier.
The water on the earth is
evaporated by the sun’s heat.
