(Escalante) edTPA updates

Task 3 workshop to prepare Middle Level and ICP candidates was held at the end of
January. Task 3 TPAs are due March 21 st
.
 edTPA due date for MS candidates has been moved to April 28 th
by 11:59pm
 edTPA due date for single subject will remain April 14 th
by 11:59pm

(Landin) Assessment Updates


CTC revising the biannual process (moving towards annual reporting cycle focused on data uploading)

(Gonzalez) JDP updates

A group of faculty got together to talk about the future of JDP. The group will meet this semester and will share updates with the committee. The new JDP cohort is the most diverse group yet.

(Rich) Follow up on SOC process
New Business
1.
(Ochanji) Summer and Fall 2016 schedules
 Need to keep cohort number to 3 with 25 to 30 students in each cohort for multiple subjects program. Need to finalize the schedules by February 22.
2.
(Freeborn/Ochanji) Course sequence of ICP
 Currently, taking EDUC512 in Year 1 but have them take on 4 th semester to align with EdTPA this coming year.
3.
(Shibata) Updates from last CTC meeting
 Watch out for the updates via e-mail. A need for a laison (perhaps a point person from student services) between SOE and CTC. The SOE office will check the budget for sending the laison to CTC meetings. Kyle will keep up with the CTC updates and will share information with SOE faculty.
4.
(Vargas) MAT exploration update
 Manuel Vargas will continue to explore the MAT program
5.
(All) Plan for showing impact on K-12 student achievement
 Moved to the programs meetings
6.
(Ochanji/Freeborn) Student Services advising questions
 A person will be hired to advise ICP.
