CONTINUATION OF: Guidance and technical support to the Natural Resource Program Center (NRPC) of the National Park Service, making
the latest Web technology available to the Natural Resource Information Division.

PROJECT ABSTRACT:
One of the many capabilities of Colorado State University (CSU) is providing quality web design and production. This includes
designing web pages and graphics. This task order allows CSU to provide support to the Natural Resource Program Center in
web design and production. This includes designing web pages for the National Park Service’s public Nature & Science web
site (http://www.nature.nps.gov/) and natural resource Intranets, including Inside Natural Resources (www1.nrintra.nps.gov)
and the NRSS portion of InsideNPS, allowing the Natural Resource Program Center to remain on the cutting edge of Internet
and web technologies, and facilitating their ability to provide information to the parks and the public.
CSU provides expertise in Internet technologies, including Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript, Cold Fusion,
Flash, and other web production techniques. Expertise will also be provided in desktop publishing and graphics design skills,
including the ability to manipulate graphics with professional graphics software to produce professional quality materials.
The broad scope of this task order includes:






Design and creation of Internet web sites for divisions and programs in the Natural Resource Program Center.
Design and production of Intranet web sites for divisions and programs in the Natural Resource Program Center.
Design and creation of new departments on the NPS Nature & Science web site.
Design and production of all servicewide comprehensive natural resource calls to solicit natural resource funding and technical
assistance requests from the 380 plus units of the National Park System.
Checking the NPS Nature & Science web site and Inside Natural Resources for universal accessibility and broken links.
Design and Production of printed materials such as booklets, newsletters, etc.
