PROJECT TITLE:� Fire Management Plan and Environmental Analysis for Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and
Curecanti National Recreation Area
EFFECTIVE DATES:� August 1, 2003 � August 31, 2004
PROJECT ABSTRACT:� The cooperator will work with Daniel Tinker, University of Wyoming cooperator to write the current
environmental analysis and fire management plan for Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and Curecanti National Recreation
Area.� The plan will fulfill agency policies and requirements and allow the parks to initiate an active fire program.� The cooperator
also will work closely with Black Canyon/Curecanti staff to accomplish the project objectives according to guidelines and timelines
outlined in the Scope of Work.
