Game Statement
The game “To Germany’ is a news game, which is based on the recent activities. In 2011,
pro-democracy protests erupted in the south city of Deraa after the arrest and torture of
some teenagers who painted revolutionary slogans on a school wall. With the nationwide
protests demanding President Assad’s resignation. Then the government began to use force
to its people, thus the violence became the civil war. With the ISIS arisen in the nation, more
and more Syria citizens chose to leave their homeland. They became the refugees, who
came to other Europe countries. Germany, one of the generous countries who welcomes
the refugees. In this game, player controls a robot, which leaves Syria and becomes a
“refugee” in the EU. However, not all the countries of EU are welcoming the refugees,
France and England are not welcoming the refugees. So, when the robot comes to England
and France will not win the game, unless the player arrives the Germany with “German
Visa”.
