An act to allocate up to $790 from the ASNAU Budget (Senate Bill Line) to Gabriel
Borden for the purpose of attending the Ashoka U Exchange.
Whereas: Northern Arizona University will be one of 150 institutions from over 40
different countries represented at this conference.
Whereas: The conference will be hosted by Brown University and take place in
Providence, Rhode Island from February 20-22.
Whereas: At the Exchange, entrepreneurial students, faculty, administrators and
community members come together to share action-oriented best practices on how
to foster a campus-wide culture of social innovation.
Whereas: ASNAU’s funding will be put towards the registration for the conference,
the airfare, and three nights at the hotel.
Be it enacted by the Associated Students of Northern Arizona University that:

Budget
Hotel - $135 ($43 a night at Knights Inn Seekonk MA. Will rise in coming weeks)
Flight – $260 (listed now. Will rise in coming weeks. Could also be dependent on
strictness of
unknown professors next semester)
Food - $45 ($15 a night for dinner)
Taxi - $100 (to and from Airport, and possibly to conference as well)
Total = $540
