Call to Order/Welcome –Ana Safazada President Ana Safazada called the meeting to order at 12:03 pm and welcomed everyone. Quorum was established. II. Announcements and Introductions A. Club Announcements Club reps introduced themselves and gave info about their club’s meetings and upcoming activities. V. Reports A. Officer Reports 1. Finance Reports 2. Review Board Reports – new proposed club a.) Get a higher GPA at ECC – constitution and petition have been reviewed and the club is ready to be approved (Business Item) VI .Business Items A. Approval of Finance Committee Recommendation Nick Mitchell reported that there is $275 + $1000 remaining in the I.C.C. Club Support Account to be requested. Motion to extend deadline for Club Budget requests until Friday, May 14th was made by Alpha Gamma Sigma. Seconded by Native American Club. Motion passed. B. Approval of New Club Hong Wang presented the club’s purpose Motion to approve the Get Higher GPA at El Camino College Club was made by El Camino College Republicans. Seconded by History Club. Motion passed. C. Approval of I.C.C. Fundraiser 1. Change of date – McDonalds Fundraiser will be on Saturday May 15th from 3-6pm Motion to approve the change of date of the McDonald’s fundraiser to Saturday, May 15th was made by I.D.E.A.S. Seconded by EC Society of Music. Motion passed. VII. Information Items A. Past Events 1. I.C.C. Pinkberry Fundraiser Ana Safazada thanked everyone for supporting the Pinkberry fundraiser. The activity raised approximately $120 which will go towards the debt from the Loathing in Las Vegas event. 1. Red Cross Blood Drive - Thank You Kim Davis from the American Red Cross thanked I.C.C. for a successful blood drive. She brought pizza and drinks to be shared by all after the meeting. B. Upcoming Events 1. I.C.C. McDonalds Fundraiser is Saturday, May 15th from 3-6pm 2. I.C.C. Recognition Banquet Ana reported that the banquet will be on Friday, May 28th from 1-4pm at the Portofino Hotel in Redondo Beach. RSVP is due on Friday, May 21st Up to 4 per club including the club’s president, rep and adviser Page 2 of 3 B. I.C.C. Club Awards 1. Most Active Club and Most Interesting Club Activity will be voted on by the club reps at the I.C.C. meeting on May 19th. Clubs were requested to turn in the list of their club activities to the I.C.C. Adviser in the Student Development Office by May 17th. C. Election for I.C.C. President and Vice President (Fall, 2010-Spring, 2011) 1. Janice Watanabe (I.C.C. Adviser) described the qualifications for each position 2. Nominations to be open at the meeting on May 19th. 3. Voting by club reps will take place at the meeting on May 26th. VIII. Next I.C.C. Meetings A. Cabinet & Finance meeting is on Monday, May 17th -at 12:00 pm in I.C.C. Office. Last change for club budget requests are due on Friday, May 14th for items to be approved at the next I.C.C. meeting. B. General Meeting is on Wednesday May 19th at 12pm in Activities Center West Conference Room. IX. Open Discussion - none X. Adjournment Motion to adjourn the meeting made by History Club.
